As the smartest boy in school and a prodigy, everyone expects Ian to be a high achiever--a future Nobel Prize winning genius. But he doesn't want to be the next Einstein. He just wants to be a makeup artist.
By the way, I would have loved to see the dude's (footballer player 18 who is not Ian; sorry-I forgot his name) face up close, even though we saw it in the previous page. I can imagine a close up of his face, with his eyebrows pulled down, and his face red and shocked rather than seeing his whole body. Readers can't even see his facial expression clearly in this page. It gives the impression that he really isn't all that affected and he doesn't even care-even though that should clearly not be the case. Rather than showing his whole body, I think it's more productive/contributive to just seeing his face fill up the top portion of the page-but, of course, filled with emotion.
Thanks for the suggestion! On this page I was kind of caught in the middle because there are plenty of angry close ups of Nacho in the following pages, and I didn't want to over do it. So yeah, having a close up of his angry face on this page definitely would've added some drama, but at the same time I kind of wanted him to keep his cool until he got into the locker room. Then all of his anger really breaks loose. But I like your advice and feel free to say what you think :)
