I'm really thrilled to announce that Mascara Volume One
is now in print and is available for purchase.
I've created a special Mascara Volume One package thing that includes a signed volume with two original inked pages from volume one. For information on that, check out this page from my main blog:Click Here
For just a regular order you can either click on the "Click Here to Get a Copy!" or just click here.
I'll also be writing some on my main blog about how my printing experience was for me.
And I just have to say to everyone, thank you soooooooo much for your support. Really, I had no plans to publish it, but you know, that's the way it goes. Thank you so much for reading, and your comments and fan art have totally helped me to survive this experience. I'm looking forwards to creating more graphic novels in the future.
And of course, keep on the look out for when I make the other volumes available.
This feels a bit silly, but I have to say, I totally love you all.
The End of Mascara

It's hard to believe that it's been three years since I've started this project. Now I'm on Volume 7, which is the last volume of Mascara. It's bittersweet. I'm glad that I'm almost done with the story, and it's exciting, but at the same time, I know I'm going feel a bit lonely once everything's done.
If you want more info about the last volume of Mascara, check out my blog here:http://manga-arcadia.blogspot.com/2012/02/script-is-done.html
(Don't worry, there are no spoilers!)
Since this is my last piece of cover art for a volume, I thought it would be cool to make prints of it available. I've also created prints for two of my other favorite volume covers. For more info on that, check out my blog post here: http://manga-arcadia.blogspot.com/2012/04/volume-7-cover-reveal.html
At this point I would like to give a special thanks to everyone who has been reading Mascara. Thank you so much for being patient with my art and watching it improve week by week. And thank you for your comments and encouragement--I don't think I would've continued if you didn't show so much interest.
The last chapter is still months away, but it is coming.
Thanks once again, and I hope you enjoy volume 7. It will contain what you've been waiting 3 years to read, and what I've been waiting three years to draw.
If there are any specific comic pages or covers that you would like to see as prints, let me know, and I'll make it happen!
Couture at Barns&Nobel
Hahaha. Really, I'm not kidding.
I really like testing new ways of sharing my work and seeing where it takes me. I'm not quite sure what this would mean for the future, but it's an option.
So now there is the question of how I did this. Well, I decided to take advantage of the services offered by Smashwords. It is a really awesome site, and for free it will allow you to submit your book and have it available at all of these different retailers. For me, the process between submitting and having it publicly available took about two months. The copyright is still completely mine; Smashwords is just listed as the publisher.
Here is the complete list of retailers where Couture
can be downloaded:
Apple (ibook store)
I have tested out reading Couture
on my ereader at home, and I love the way it looks. I really do. Believe it or not, it's actually a bit different from reading it on my computer. I guess the pages look more close up and personal.
If you know what ebook format your device uses or if you only want the PDF, you can download Couture
straight from Smashwords, and pick which format is for you. If you don't know which format you need, the list below will be helpful.
This is a list of different devices and which services can be used to download Couture
**If you have an Android device, you can also download the Aldiko app, and under the download books option, Smashwords is listed as a distributor. Then you can download Couture
Barns&Nobel-- for the Nook.
**If you have a Kindle, for now it's best to download directly from Smashwords. The format needed for the Kindle is .mobi**
Smashwords for the PDF
So share this post with friends, acquaintances, and complete and total strangers. :P
And if you've read Couture
before, it would be beyond awesome if you would go to Barnes&Nobel or one of these other sites, and rate it/give it a review. That would be really appreciated! <3
